Draftsperson/AutoCAD Operator

Specialty construction Company located in Eastern Long Island, is looking for Draftsperson/AutoCAD Operator; must be able to prepare accurate shop drawings, details from architectural plans, detail drawings, sketches, or notes. This will include red lining of your own work.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD
• Ability to read architectural plans as well as red-line your own work
• Inter-personal skills
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/ SketchUp is a plus
• Clear written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in Group
• Ability to independently manage time
• Valid driver’s License

Successful applicant may perform other related duties as needed to meet ongoing business needs; or additional duties may be assigned per employee’s growth and development like:

• Align with Project Managers to monitor projects. This will include document control, submittal processes and approvals.
• Work with shop floor personnel on issues and concerns, ensuring continuous product and process improvements.
• May requisition supplies and materials as required under the supervision of Project Managers as required by the project.

Job Type: Full-time (8:AM to 5:PM – Monday-Friday)

Pay: $xx,xxx – $xx,xxx, commensurate with experience.
