Commissioned to execute work at the New York Times’ new headquarters, Island Diversified applied a 4-coat, integrally-colored, polished and waxed Marmorino plaster to create a bold and memorable treatment for the building’s main entry lobby. In addition to providing a highly energetic greeting for visitors to the building, the bright, multi-hued Marmorino also serves as a dramatic backdrop to the intriguing installation Moveable Type by artists Mark Hansen and Ben Rubin.
