In this prominent architectural feature of the Chelsea neighborhood of New York City; Island Diversified was commissioned to furnish and install a recycled glass panel / seamless acoustical plaster system (StarSilent) at the ceiling of the main lobby. The structure’s unique design by renowned architect Frank Gehry created remarkable irregular volumes, complemented by an entire-wall glazing backdrop further challenging the seamless absorbing sound plaster system. IAC is a leading media and Internet company, the building houses more than 150 internet based brands with business operations and satellite offices around the world.
